Behrmann's Tavern is the second oldest bar in St. Louis still doing business under its original name. Open on the south side since the mid-1930s, this small neighborhood bar is well steeped in history. There's a vintage bowling machine that's survived since the 1950s, faded black & white photographs showing the evolution of St. Louis baseball stadiums & monuments and a pizza oven next to the bar that may or may not be original to the place. You're not likely to find young people at the bar, which is a shame, because the wizened regulars have stories to tell.
